A vulnerability has been identified in Atheros Wireless drivers, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by an error when processing malformed management frames, which could be exploited by an unauthenticated attacker within transmitting range of an affected wireless adapter to create a denial of service condition by sending a specially crafted 802.11 management frame to that adapter.
