Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Symantec Mail Security, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This issue is caused by boundary errors in the SMS Filter Hub service when parsing executable files attached to filtered emails, which could be exploited by attackers or malware to crash an affected application via a specially crafted email, creating a denial of service condition.
