A vulnerability has been identified in KVIrc, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code. This issue is caused by an error in the "parseIrcUrl()" [kernel/kvi_ircurl.cpp] function that does not properly validate "irc://" URIs when building the command for KVIrc's internal script system, which could be exploited by attackers to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands by tricking a user into following a malicious URI.
