Two vulnerabilities have been identified in various CA products, which could be exploited by attackers or malware to take complete control of an affected system or cause a denial of service.

The first issue is caused by a stack overflow error in the Anti-Virus engine when processing a CAB file containing an overly long file name, which could be exploited by attackers crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code.

The second vulnerability is caused by a stack overflow error in the Anti-Virus engine when processing a CAB file with a specially crafted "coffFiles" field, which could be exploited by attackers crash an affected application or execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
