Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Apple Xserve Lights-Out Management Firmware, which could be exploited by malicious users to obtain elevated privileges. This issue is caused by an error in the IPMI implementation, which could allow an unprivileged ipmitool user to gain administrative privileges on a vulnerable Intel-based Xserve system.
