Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Libexif, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code. This issue is caused by an integer overflow error in the "exif_data_load_data_entry()" [libexif/exif-data.c] function that does not properly validate the "doff" and "s" values, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an application linked against a vulnerable library or compromise a vulneable system via a specially crafted EXIF image.
