Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in VooDoo cIRCle, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code.
The first issue is caused by an off-by-one error when processing specially crafted BOTNET packets, which could be exploited by attackers to terminate connections, creating a denial of service condition.
The second vulnerability is caused by an off-by-one buffer overflow error in the DNS resolution module when processing overly long DNS names, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or potentially compromise an affected system.
The third issue is caused by errors when handling SSL connections and passwords, which could be exploited by malicious clients to cause a denial of service.
