>> Advanced Guestbook Information Disclosure and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
|
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Advanced Guestbook, which could be exploited by attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information.
The first issue is caused by errors in the "lang/codes-english.php" and "image.php" scripts when processing user-supplied parameters, which could be exploited by attackers to disclose database names or determine the installation path.
The second vulnerability is caused by an input validation error in the "picture.php" script when processing the "picture" parameter, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
The third issue is caused by an input validation error in the "index.php" script when processing the "lang" cookie parameter, which could be exploited by remote attackers to include or disclose the contents of local files with the privileges of the web server.
