A vulnerability has been identified in GNU Gnash (GNU Flash player), which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This issue is caused by a memory corruption error in the "sprite_definition::read()" [server/parser/sprite_definition.cpp] function when handling a large number of "SHOWFRAME" elements within a "DEFINESPRITE" tag, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a specially crafted Flash (SWF) file.

Solution
