Technical Description
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in CA BrightStor ARCserve Backup and CA Business Protection, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. These issues are caused by stack overflow errors in the SUN RPC service when processing malformed requests, which could be exploited by remote unauthenticated attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
