Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in FileZilla, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code.
The first issue is caused by format string errors in the "IdentServerDataSocket.cpp", "SftpControlSocket.cpp", "IdentServerControl.cpp", "TransferSocket.cpp", "ApiLog.cpp", "ControlSocket.cpp" and "FtpControlSocket.cpp" when calling the "LogMessage()" function, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or compromise an affected system.
The second issue is caused by NULL pointer dereference errors in the "RichEditStreamInCallback()" [StatusCtrl.cpp] and "CMainFrame::DefWindowProc()" [MainFrm.cpp] functions, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application.
