VMware has released security patches to address multiple vulnerabilities identified in ESX server. These issues are caused by errors in texinfo, zlib and binutils. For additional information, see : VUPEN/ADV-2005-1748 - VUPEN/ADV-2006-4412 - VUPEN/ADV-2005-0978 - VUPEN/ADV-2005-2559

Unspecified double-free and buffer overflow errors have also been addressed. These issues could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service, disclose sensitive information, or execute arbitrary commands.
