A vulnerability has been identified in MyBB (MyBulletinBoard), which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This issue is due to an input validation error in the "get_ip()" [inc/functions.php] function that does not validate the "HTTP_CLIENT_IP" header before being used in SQL statements, which could be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and gain unauthorized administrative access to a vulnerable application, allowing them to upload arbitrary PHP scripts and compromise an affected web server.
