A vulnerability has been identified in dproxy-nexgen, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is due to a buffer overflow error in the "dns_decode_reverse_name()" [dns_decode.c] function when processing packets sent to port 53/UDP, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of a vulnerable server.
