A vulnerability has been identified in InterActual Player, which could be exploited by remote attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is due to a buffer overflow error in the "IASystemInfo.dll" ActiveX control when handling an overly long "ApplicationType" property, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.

Solution
Set a kill bit for the CLSID {B727C210-2022-11D4-B2C6-0050DA1BD906}.
VUPEN Security is not aware of any vendor-supplied patch.
