A vulnerability has been identified in NewsReactor, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is due to a buffer overflow error when processing a specially crafted article with an overly long "name" field, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a malicious article.
