A vulnerability has been identified in Modular Google Talk Bot (gtalkbot), which could be exploited by local attackers to gain knowledge of sensitive information. This issue is due to a design error where the username and password are passed as arguments to the command line in clear-text, which could be exploited by malicious users to obtain authentication information via the "ps" command.
