Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Trend Micro InterScan VirusWall for Linux, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands. This issue is due to a buffer overflow error in the VSAPI module when passing an overly long argument to the "vscan" utility, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user or an automated system to scan a specially crafted file.
