Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in various CA products, which could be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or take complete control of an affected system. These issues are due to buffer overflow errors in the Mobile Backup Service (LGSERVER.EXE) when processing specially crafted requests sent to ports 1900/TCP and 2200/TCP, which could be exploited by remote unauthenticated attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary commands with SYSTEM privileges.
