A vulnerability has been identified in various NCTsoft products, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system. This issue is due to a buffer overflow error in the "NCTAudioFile2.AudioFile" ActiveX control (NCTAudioFile2.dll) when handling an overly long argument passed to the "SetFormatLikeSample()" method, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted web page.
Note : The affected ActiveX control is included with various third-party products.

Solution
Set a kill bit for the CLSID {77829F14-D911-40FF-A2F0-D11DB8D6D0BC}.
VUPEN Security is not aware of any vendor-supplied patch.
