>> Direct Web Remoting Creators Check Bypass and Remote Denial of Service Vulnerabilities
|
Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Direct Web Remoting (DWR), which could be exploited by remote attackers to bypass security restrictions or cause a denial of service.
The first issue is due to an error when handling specially crafted requests, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass the "include/exclude" (Creators) checks and access public methods that should not be accessible.
The second vulnerability is due to an error in the servlet engine that fails to properly handle an overly large number of simultaneous requests, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service condition.
Affected Products
