A vulnerability has been identified in dadaIMC, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This issue is due to an error in the ".htaccess" file that contains an insecure "FilesMatch" directive, which could be exploited by attackers to execute malicious files uploaded with a filename containing the string "feature", "editor", "newswire", "otherpress", "admin", "pbook", "media" or "mod", as PHP scripts.

dadaIMC version 0.99.3 and prior

Solution

Modify the ".htaccess" file.

VUPEN Security is not aware of any vendor-supplied patch.
