A vulnerability has been identified in GNOME Evince, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the "get_next_text()" function when handling a PostScript file containing an overly long field (e.g. DocumentMedia, DocumentPaperSizes, PageMedia, and PaperSize), which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or compromise a vulnerable system by convincing a user to open a specially crafted file.
