Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in OpenSSH, which could be exploited by attackers to bypass security restrictions. This flaw is due to an error in the privilege separation monitor function "monitor_child_preauth()" [monitor.c] that fails to properly validate certain signatures, which could be exploited in combination with other vulnerabilities to weaken the authentication process.
