A vulnerability has been identified in Easy Address Book Web Server, which could be exploited by attackers to gain unauthorized access to arbitrary files on a vulnerable system. This flaw is due to an error when processing requests containing the "::$DATA" string, which could be exploited by malicious users to access and read the contents of certain files on a NTFS file system.

Easy Address Book Web Server version 1.2 and prior
Solution
