Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Wireshark, which may be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service. These flaws are due to errors in the HTTP, LDAP, XOT, WBXML, MIME, and AirPcap protocol dissectors when processing malformed packets, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash an affected application or exhaust all available resources via a specially crafted packet or trace file, creating a denial of service condition.
