Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in GNU Screen, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to errors in the "utf8_handle_comb()" [encoding.c] function when handling certain UTF-8 characters, which could be exploited by attackers to crash an affected application by writing a specially crafted string to a window.
