Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in ImageMagick, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.
The first issue is due to a buffer overflow error in the "ReadDCMImage()" [coders/dcm.c] function when handling a malformed DCM image, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious image.
The second vulnerability is due to a buffer overflow error in the "ReadPALMImage()" [coders/palm.c] function when handling a malformed PALM image, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious image.

Solution
VUPEN Security is not aware of any vendor-supplied patch.
