Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Novell eDirectory, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the "BuildRedirectURL()" function within the HTTP Protocol Stack (httpstk) component of iMonitor when processing overly long "Host" HTTP headers, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash a vulnerable application or compromise an affected system.
