A vulnerability has been identified in IBM Informix Dynamic Server, which could be exploited by local attackers to potentially cause a denial of service or obtain elevated privileges. This flaw is due to insecure permissions being set on the "/tmp/installserver.txt" file during the installation process, which could be exploited by malicious users to append arbitrary data to local files via symlink attacks.
