Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Kerio Personal Firewall, which could be exploited by malicious users to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to errors in "fwdrv.sys" and "khips.sys" when handling "NtCreateFile()", "NtDeleteFile()", "NtLoadDriver()", "NtMapViewOfSection()", "NtOpenFile()", and "NtSetInformationFile()" functions with malformed parameters, which could be exploited by local attackers to crash a vulnerable system.
