Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Gzip, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.

The first issue is due to an error in the "make_table()" [unlzh.c] function when unpacking malformed archives, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary commands.

The second flaw is due to a buffer underflow error in the "build_tree()" [unpack.c] function when unpacking malformed "pack" archives, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary commands.

The third vulnerability is due to a buffer overflow error in the "make_table()" function when unpacking archives containing a specially crafted decoding table, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application or execute arbitrary commands.

The fourth issue is due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the "huft_build()" function and an infinite loop error in the LZH support when unpacking malformed archives, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable application.
