A vulnerability has been identified in Linux Kernel, which may be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to an error in the ULE (Unidirectional Lightweight Encapsulation) decapsulation code [drivers/media/dvb/dvb-core/dvb_net.c] that does not properly handle malformed packets with a SNDU (Sub Network Data Unit) length of 0, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable system, creating a denial of service condition.
