Title : BLOG:CMS Multiple Parameter Handling Remote SQL Query Injection Vulnerabilities VUPEN ID : VUPEN/ADV-2006-3521 CVE ID : CVE-2006-4748
Rated as : Moderate Risk
Remotely Exploitable : Yes Locally Exploitable : Yes Release Date : 2006-09-08
Technical Description
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in BLOG:CMS, which may be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. These flaws are due to input validation errors in the "admin/plugins/NP_Log.php", "admin/plugins/NP_Poll.php", and "admin/plugins/NP_Referrer.php" scripts that do not validate the "User-Agent" and "Referer" HTTP headers, the "pitem" parameter, and the "PHP_SELF" and "QUERY_STRING" variables before being used in SQL statements, which could be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
