Technical Description
A vulnerability was identified in Compression Plus, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the "CP5DLL32.DLL" library when processing a ZOO archive with a header containing an overly large size field, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system by convincing a user to open a specially crafted archive.
