Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in ImageMagick, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands or cause a denial of service.
The first issue is due to buffer overflow errors in the "DecodeBitmap()" and "ReadSUNImage()" [sun.c] functions when handling malformed Sun Rasterfile images, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious image.
The second flaw is due to buffer overflow errors in the XCF image decoder when handling malformed images, which could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system via a malicious image.
