Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Kerberos V5, which could be exploited by malicious users to bypass security restrictions and obtain elevated privileges. This flaw is due to errors in the "krshd" and "v4rcp" applications that do not check the return code of "setuid()" and "seteuid()" calls, which could be exploited by local attackers to disclose or manipulate arbitrary files and execute commands with root privileges.
