A vulnerability has been identified in Apple Safari, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash a vulnerable browser or take complete control of an affected system. This flaw is due to a memory corruption error in the "KHTMLParser::popOneBlock()" function when handling a script element in a div object redefining the document body, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands by convincing a user to visit a specially crafted Web page.

Upgrade to Mac OS X version 10.4.8 or apply Security Upgrade 2006-006 :
