A vulnerability has been identified in FreePBX, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to an input validation error in the "amp_conf/astetc/extensions.conf" file that does not properly validate user-supplied "CALLERID(number)" and "CALLERID(name)" parameters before being passed to a "system()" call when receiving a fax, which could be exploited by remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary shell commands with the privileges of the application.

Note : Only applications with the "Allow Anonymous Inbound SIP Calls" option enabled are vulnerable.
