Technical Description
A vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by remote attackers to crash a vulnerable browser or potentially take complete control of an affected system. This flaw is due to an integer overflow error in the Windows Shell when processing a WebViewFolderIcon ActiveX (Web View) object with a specially crafted "setSlice()" method, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands by convincing a user to visit a specially crafted Web page.
