>> DeluxeBB Multiple Variable Handling SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
|
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in DeluxeBB, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands and malicious scripting code, or to manipulate certain information.
The first flaw is due to input validation errors when processing the "membercookie" and "memberpw" cookie parameters, which could be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
The second flaw is due to an input validation error in the "header.php" script that does not properly handle a malformed URL, which could be exploited by attackers to cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the user's browser in the security context of an affected Web site.
The third issue is due to an input validation error in the "misc.php" script that fails to properly validate the "redirect" parameter, which could be exploited by attackers to redirect a user to a malicious website.
