Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in Outpost Firewall Pro, which could be exploited by local attackers to obtain elevated privileges. These issues are due to a design error where various windows are run with SYSTEM privileges, which could be exploited by malicious users to launch applications and execute arbitrary commands with SYSTEM privileges (e.g. via the "open folder" option or via a drag and drop action).
