A vulnerability has been identified in Linux Kernel, which could be exploited by local attackers to obtain elevated privileges. This flaw is due to a buffer overflow error in the "dvd_read_bca()" [drivers/cdrom/cdrom.c] function that assigns a wrong value to a length variable, which could be exploited by malicious users to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges via a specially crafted USB Storage device.
