A vulnerability has been identified in Apple Mac OS X, which could be exploited by attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to an error in the "TIFFFetchAnyArray()" function that fails to properly handle TIFF images containing malformed tags, which could be exploited by attackers to crash a vulnerable applications linked against "ImageIO" (e.g. Safari) by convincing a user to visit a specially crafted Web site or open a malicious image.
