A vulnerability has been identified in Fortinet FortiOS (FortiGate), which could be exploited by attackers or malware to bypass security restrictions. This flaw is due to an error in the FTP proxy module that fails to properly validate certain Enhanced Passive FTP (EPSV) commands, which could be exploited by a malicious FTP client to bypass the virus file scanning feature by enabling the EPSV mode.
