Technical Description
Two vulnerabilities have been identified in Microsoft Windows, which could be exploited by attackers to take complete control of an affected system. These flaws are due to buffer overflow errors in the Hyperlink Library "hlink.dll" that does not properly handle overly long links, which could be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands by convincing a user to open a specially crafted document (e.g. Excel of Word) and follow a malicious link.
