A vulnerability has been identified in Kaspersky Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Internet Security Suite, which could be exploited by local attackers to cause a denial of service. This flaw is due to invalid memory access in "klif.sys" when handling and using pointers supplied by user-space programs, which could be exploited by malicious users to reboot a vulnerable system.
