>> NPDS Multiple Parameter Local File Inclusion and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
|
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in NPDS, which could be exploited by remote attackers to perform cross site scripting and local file inclusions.
The first issue is due to input validation errors in the "meta/meta.php", "viewforum.php", "editpost.php", and "user.php" scripts when processing the "nuke_url", "forum", "post_id", "forum", "topic", "arbre", "uname", and "email" parameters, which could be exploited by attackers to cause malicious scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
The second flaw is due to an input validation error in the "modules/cluster-paradise/cluster-E.php" script that does not properly validate the "ModPath" parameter, which could be exploited by remote attackers to include or disclose the contents of local files with the privileges of the web server.
Note : Various scripts (e.g. "header.php") do not properly handle empty variables, which could be exploited by attackers to determine the installation path.
