>> AlstraSoft Article Manager SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting Vulnerabilities
|
Multiple vulnerabilities have been identified in AlstraSoft Article Manager, which could be exploited by remote attackers to perform SQL injection and cross site scripting.
The first issue is due to input validation errors in the "submit_article.php" when handling certain parameters, which could be exploited by attackers to cause malicious scripting code to be executed by the user's browser.
The second flaw is due to input validation errors in the "profile.php" and "userarticles.php" scripts that do not validate the "author_id" and "aut_id" parameters, which could be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Note : Various scripts do not properly handle empty or invalid parameters, which could be exploited by attackers to determine the installation path.
