Technical Description

A vulnerability has been identified in foing (module for phpBB), which may be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw is due to an input validation error in the "index.php", "song.php", "faq.php", "list.php", "gen_m3u.php", and "playlist.php" scripts that do not validate the "phpbb_root_path" parameter, which could be exploited by remote attackers to include malicious scripts and execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the web server.

Solution 

VUPEN Security is not aware of any vendor-supplied patch.
